Genero y política urbana - Gender and Urban Policy

Acaba de publicarse el libro Género y política urbana. Arquitectura y urbanismo desde la perspectiva de género publicado por la Generalitat Valenciana y el Institut Valencià de l´Edificació en el que ahonda en el reto de reformular nuestra relación con la ciudad tras la oportunidad que se ha abierto en la actualidad a través del contexto político y de renovación legislativa en la Comunitat Valenciana. Este libro aprovecha esta ocasión  para incorporar la perspectiva de género a estos proyectos legislativos y revisar ciertos aspectos de las leyes en vigor que afectan directa o indirectamente a la política urbana. Mi contribución forma parte de este libro junto a otras aportaciones desde otras disciplinas. Gracias a Carolina Mateo por incluirme en esta iniciativa.

The book Gender and Urban Policy. Architecture and urbanism from a gender perspective has just been published. by the Generalitat Valenciana and the Institut Valencià de l'Edificació. The book delves into the challenge of reformulating our relationship with the city after the opportunity that has been opened today through the political context and of legislative renewal in the Comunitat Valenciana. This book takes this opportunity to incorporate the gender perspective into these legislative projects and review certain aspects of existing laws that directly or indirectly affect urban policy. My contribution is part of this book along with other contributions from other disciplines. Thanks to Carolina Mateo for including me in this initiative. MORE: III International Conference on Gender and Architecture

Los dias 26, 27 y 28 de Enero de 2017 tiene lugar la 3ra Conferencia en Genero y Arquitectura MORE en la Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad de Florencia UNIFI, en el que he tenido el placer de participar como Comité Científico. En esta edición presentaré brevemente el trabajo iniciado en Sevilla hace tres años y que se ha resumido en el libro "Arquitectas. Redefiniendo la profesión". Nos vemos!

MORE, the 3rd International Conference on Gender and Architecture  will take place the 26, 27 and 28th of January in the School of Architecture at the University of Florence Unifi. I have the great pleasure of being part of this Conference Scientific Committee. In this edition I will present briefly the work initiated three years ago in Seville that has been summarized in the book "Arquitectas. Redefining the practice": See you there!

A minor Architecture

Desde mañana Miércoles 18  hasta el 14 de Febrero se expone nuestro trabajo en la Galería  Espacio Valverde de Madrid, junto al trabajo de muchos otros arquitectos que como nosotros trabajan a través  de obras de menor tamaño.

From tomorrow 18th of January till the 14th February our work will be exhibited in Galería Espacio Valverde in Madrid with a whole group of architects who are working through minor projects.
